Ice Cream Float Party, Friday, July 17th 2:30 to 4 PM

If you have turned in any number of reading logs for the 2026 Summer Reading Challenge, you are invited! Stop by the patio for a free ice cream float! This ones is for all ages!

07/17/2025 Library Lock-In at 6 PM (Library Closing at 4 PM)

🎉 The Library Lock-In is almost here! 🎉

If you qualified for this year’s Library Lock-In, you received a phone call or email earlier today. We have limited spots available, so stop by to complete the registration forms soon! 3 p.m. Wednesday is the deadline, or when we fill up, whichever comes first!

Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes since we’ll be moving around and having lots of fun. You will probably also want to bring:

📚 A book, some magazines, or other reading materials for our independent reading sessions

🛏️ A pillow if you’d like to get cozy while you read

We’ll have games, activities, prizes, and plenty of time to relax with a great book. It’s going to be a fun night at the library!

Have you ever wondered… What does it feel like to ride the runners behind a team of dogs, steering a loaded sled through mountainous terrain, crossing the vast Alaskan tundra, hugging the shoreline of the great Bering Sea? Come to the Library on Wednesday, July 15th and learn from Musher, Ms. Karen Land.
